Background Details |
On 31 January 1997 the (injured) employee was unloading a Toyota Landcruiser from the tray of a vehicle transporter. He was walking along the tray of the transporter prior to gaining access to the Landcruiser and fell approximately 1.5 metres to the ground and was injured. Mr Searle did not inform the Commissioner when it became apparent that the employee would be unable to return to work for more than 10 days. Calcium gluconate gel was not available at the workplace and appropriate first aid was not provided. |
