On 14 August 2000 a WorkSafe Inspector was investigating an accident that occurred at a workplace in Boddington, where timber cutting operations were carried out. The WorkSafe inspector encountered the defendant who was asked for, amongst other information, his name and address. Further investigations revealed that the defendant gave the WorkSafe inspector an incorrect spelling of his name and false address that did not exist. The defendant pleaded guilty. The penalty was imposed under section 54(b). |
